- 2002Doubled Monthly Retails SalesAs part of a small team of retail managers, we double the store’s turnover from ZAR1 million per month to ZAR2 million over the course of 12 months.
- 2003Grew Purchasing BudgetAs head of purchasing, grew the purchasing budget from circa ZAR425,000 per month to surpass ZAR1 million per month
- 2006USD2 Million / month Sales volumeDrove monthly revenue above the USD2 million mark, primarily through affiliate marketing growth and retention campaigns,.
- 2016Launched a B2B Digital AgencyAfter spending years building custom web software, it was decided to launch a digital agency offering Software development, web presence building and digital marketing services.
- 2018Helped ICOs raise more than USD700 million through ICOsDuring the first Crypto boom I joined a company who had a blockchain agency arm. As the head of projects for this agency, I directly worked with ICOs who raised more than USD700 million in funding.
- 2019 – 2020Doubled Gross IncomeWorking as CMO for a financial services company, I helped them grow from USD62 million in income in 2019 to more than USD125 million in 2020.
- 2020Built Marketing Automation, growing client LTV buy 30%Working closely with acquisition and retention teams, we managed to build out targeted campaigns that helped to grow the overall client life time value by 30%.
- 2019 – 2021Built Partner Marketing System Increasing Number of Partners by 20%Using targeted campaigns and automated funnels, we grew the number of partners by 20%.
- 2020Grew Median Partner Value by 15%By using targeted educational campaigns focusing on digital training for partners, we successfully helped partners increase their median value by 15%
Product and Project Achievements
What products and projects I have delivered to my employers, driving business growth.
- 2009Built out Reporting StandardBuilt out an internal reporting standard for marketing.
- 2009Spearheaded Custom Analytics BuildWorked closely with the development team to build a tracking system that would provide additional data, and create an easier connection to the source that drove the client to the business.
- 2010Led a Digital Transformation of 6 Web PropertiesThis included new design, content and functionality to help the brand drive growth. It also was complemented with new digital campaigns to announce the change.
- 2010Launched 14 Additional Web PropertiesThis was an extension of the digital transformation, expanding the brand into new service verticals. Unlike the transformation where the digital campaigns were to announce the change, the digital campaigns built with these new sites were to draw in new clients for the expanded service offering.
- 2012Built a Custom CMS PlatformThis included the end-to-end planning, management and execution of a custom CMS build. This CMSD was built as an alternative to using opensource CMS systems that could not support the functionality required.
- 2014Built a Custom Job BoardTook a complex and slow job board, and rescoped it to MVP level. Built out the roadmap, backlog and all iterations to be run. Managed to relaunch the MVP within 6 weeks, fully tested and functioning.
- 2017Spec’d Out a Custom Mail Service with Built-in Analytics FunctionsIn order to facilitate better user experience, we built out a custom mail service that would allow users to control their subscriptions directly through our system. It also have full engagement and click tracking built in.
- 2018Digital Transformation for Restaurant ChainI pitched a digital solution to one of the largest restaurateurs in Cyprus. The pitch included full specifications for a custom built multi-restaurant booking system.
- 2018Chief Project Officer RoleSuccessfully scoped, documented and executed multiple projects, focused on blockchain, payments, infosec, fintech, cryptocurrency and affiliate marketing
- 2019Launched 4 New Digital First Products.Managed the build and launch 4 new brands, covering Personal Wellness, Influencer Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and Financial Service Events.
- 2019 – 2021Marketing Technology Product OwnerWas the SME for marketing technology during a company wide digital transformation. Products scoped and executed included: Affiliate platform, Marketing Communication Automation products, Advanced Digital Tracking software, Promotion and Bonus platform, Events Building and Management system, VIP Services Management tool and an Advanced Risk Management suite.
