I have spent 17 years working in marketing, with a strong focus on digital and various online channels. I have been marketing employee number one a couple of times, and have successfully built out full scale marketing teams from the ground up. I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty to get the job done.

AlthoughI have never held a full scale technology role (I am not a system administrator or a developer), I have led and built out teams including sysadmins, devops, full stack developers, backend and frontend developers, as well as UI and UX teams. I have built out project and product roadmaps, as well as led agile teams through short and long term sprints in order to delivery everything from MVPs to continuous improvements, often managing the backlog and each iteration myself.

I have worked right across the management spectrum, from mid-level right up to board level. I have helped define and execute on strategy, provided analysis and reporting, as well as acted as a board level representative across various business functions and departments.

Working in an industry that offers business services including international company formation, bank accounts, legal services such as trademark registration, employment contracts, accounting services and payroll. I have worked across multiple business functions, including marketing, management and operations.
Consulting
I have consulted with SMEs across the globes on topics such as project management, product ownership, technology, payment solutions, marketing, and structural and operational optimization. Most of my consulting has been done as part of a different role within the organisation, however, as the subject matter expert, many clients requested my consulting services.
Financial Services
Within the financial services, I have offered support for start-ups, covering topics such as software and licensing, operational structuring and compliance. I have served as a reporting and evaluation officer, helping companies to build internal reporting standards and extend their data capture. Finally in my most recent role I was CMO for a D2C financial services company, focused on acquisition, automation and revenue growth.
E-Learning and Testing
I have worked across e-learning products, covering the configuration, creation and marketing of e-learning products, using both market leading LMS platforms and smaller bespoke built platforms. I have also product owned a custom built psychometric testing system, that I led a team building out specific tests, and the matching matrix behind these tests. I also have experience in validating and normalising test results.
Blockchain
For blockchain projects I have worked as a project manager, business validator and as a community and marketing lead. These blockchains have covered transportation, exchanges, gaming, affiliate marketing, ad serving (DSP and SSP) and payment processing systems. I have done this either as a direct contractor, or part of a blockchain digital agency.
HR and Recruitment
I have project managed and product owned big HR and recruitment technology projects specifically targeting recruiters. This has included an application management system, job seeker messenger system, a candidate compatibility calculator (backed by a matching algorithm) and a content resource, offering recruiters various information about the hiring process.
Payment Solutions
When it comes to payment solutions, I started in the industry as a client, working with payment solutions providers (PSPs) across the globe to find suitable payment solutions for my first digital role. I then moved into a support and consulting role, helping B2C companies find suitable processing solutions. My most recent experience with payment solutions was the creating of a project plan, and the initial project management for a PSP solution that married the technology of blockchain, the CX of a major payment system and the innovation of an EMI.
Job Seeking and Careers
From building out a global job board with 105+ country specific portals, with a centralised database, to the creation, product ownership and revenue optimisation of a career blog that gets more than 1.5 million unique visitors a month, I have covered a massive spectrum of job seeking and career related products. This has included the full technical management of the back log, iteration plan, sprint reviews and QA of every release for a custom built CMS, testing platform, ecommerce site and job board.
Personal Wellness
For a brief period in 2019 I was the head of product for a company building out a DNA testing platform, with a recommendation engine attached for it for supplements. This role included relationship management for the lab, supplement wholesalers and special development teams. It also included end to end marketing through digital channels, including content, email, PPC, social and SEO marketing.
Viral Content
Using a proprietary built CMS system, I led a team of content writers and designers in building out a platform where the goal was to produce content that had the potential to go viral across social media.
Real Estate
Working with a real estate developer, we built out a collection of sites for high end residential and corporate office real estate offerings. This also included the marketing of these properties online.
Influencer Marketing
I was product owner for a company that built out an influencer marketing portal, where brands could search for and find relevant influencers, as well as book them online.
